First, let`s have a look at the difference between the first two numbers in the sequence: 99 – 92 = 7
Now if you do the same with number two and three, you get 92-86 = 6
If you continue this, you`ll see that the difference between 86 and 81 is 5
And the difference between 81 and 77 is 4.
So the pattern seems to be 7, 6, 5, 4…
That means, to get to the final solution you need to deduct the number 3 from 77, which makes the solution….?
The solution is: 77 – 3 = 74.
