When Judy Brown experienced severe abdominal pain she rushed to the emergency room.
After a routine check, the doctor at Beverly Hospital, in Massachusetts, told her something she never thought she would hear.
Judy and Jason Brown had been married for 22 years when Judy was rushed into hospital.
The couple’s attitude toward children was always “if it happens it happens,” according to WCVB.
Then doctors told 47-year-old Judy that she was pregnant.
“(The doctors said,) ‘It’s good news there’s no blockage, you are pregnant and you are going to have her now!’” she said.
Just an hour later Carolyn Rose was born healthy and weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces.
The first-time mom said she had noticed some changes in her body but thought she was moving onto the next stage of her life, according to WCVB.
The new mom, thought her weight gain and growing stomach was just her ‘turning into her mother’ .
Now the couple are borrowing what they can for their new surprising bundle of joy and friends and relatives are doing all they can to help.
‘I feel like I am still going to wake up in the emergency room and say: “Hey, this is only a dream. It felt so real,”‘ 48-year-old husband Jason said.
So wonderful that everything ended well! You cannot get a sweeter surprise!
