We all come across annoying situations from time to time that make us wonder what our correct reaction should be. A Reddit user Angry_commuter told a story about a stressful interaction on the subway with a mom and her autistic daughter.
After a tough day at work, OP got off the subway and strolled onto the busy platform during rush hour. As he approached the stairs, someone unexpectedly knocked on him, bringing him extremely close to the platform’s yellow edge, where standing is dangerous. When he looked up, he noticed two women going by—one in front and the other swinging back and forth. Not paying attention.
OP screamed at them to pay attention to where they were going out of frustration. They didn’t appear to hear him, though. He stepped closer to them and yelled again, warning them to exercise caution. Turning around, the mother told him not to yell since her autistic kid was sensitive to noise.
OP said that they needed to be extra careful because he was nearly pushed onto the tracks. The woman accused him of disrespect and hurried away, leaving OP to question if his behavior was justified.

6. Via embaleezers: OP was not at fault. What the woman and her daughter did was extremely risky. Instead of being dismissive, the woman could have said sorry and explained her actions.
