While everyone was busy taking a look at and snapping pictures of the last full moon of the decade, otherwise known as the Cold Moon, Denarrika Fisher and Charles Bell were in an Illinois hospital preparing to meet their baby boy for the first time.

Fisher was originally due on December 30, but “decided to come early for this numeric and lunar coincidence,” the hospital said in a statement.

Not only was Baby Denarius born on December 12, but he was born at 12:12 a.m. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

His parents didn’t realize his coincidental timing at first, but the nursing staff at the Women and Infants Center at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital did.

Congratulations! What a special baby! I predict that the number 12 will bring good luck to Denarius throughout his life.

Share this on Facebook to congratulate the couple on the birth of their special baby boy.
