Money issues can lead to tensions and misunderstandings in the families. This is the story of a 19 years old girl, who lived with her parents and younger siblings. When she turned 18 she wanted to get a job and earn money. But her parents said no.
Whenever OP received money from a relative or her father she saved it. Her mother often borrowed that money from her for emergencies. When OP asked for the money back her mother would forget. This problem wasn’t just limited to money, her mother also borrowed items from her. She lost them or broke them. When OP asked about the things or wanted to replace them, her mother would say she never borrowed them. She also said that OP is very careless.
Because of these problems, OP decided not to lend her mother money or anything anymore. Recently OP’s uncle sent her some money through her mother’s account. But her Mom hadn’t given it to her. She said she needed the money. She wanted to buy some things and promised to return the money soon.
Now three weeks passed and her mother didn’t give her money. When OP asked about the money, her mother said she never received the money. OP becomes annoyed. She asked her father for at least half of the money her mother owed. Her mother got angry. She said OP should not involve her Dad.
