That way they will lower the risk of having a stroke.

Drinking tea

We all know that the tea is rich in tannin, but did you know that the tannin affects the iron to be absorbed in the blood properly? That’s why Dr. D. Raghunatha consults to avoid tea around one hour before and after having a meal.

Eating fruit

Fruit is full of vitamins and minerals, so our bodies will be truly grateful if we consume it more frequently. But it would be fair enough if we also mention the quantity of fructose they consist.  Melina Jampolis, physician and nutrition expert, says that fruit has almost three times the calorie count as vegetable. She also added that eating more than 100grams per day can lead to weight gain. So avoiding fruit after a meal can help you to keep a fit body.

Go for a walk

There are a lot of people that think that going for a walk after a meal can benefit your body, but the last researches say that this is only partly correct. According to the Department of Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina, people should go for a walk at least half hour after having a meal and the walk should be around 10 minutes. This way you will avoid heartburns and indigestion.

Taking a shower

If you were thinking about to take a shower after the meal, forget about it! After having a meal all the energy and the blood flow is focused around the stomach and the intestines in order to digest the food. Do you know what will happen if you take a shower  right after eating?
